I went to the 12:01 showing of Harry Potter 6 on the 14th-15th. Before the show I went to a friend's birthday party which was Harry Potter themed. We dressed up in Hogwarts clothes that were Griffendor and Slitherin. I dressed up in Slitherin and laughed at their expression when I arrived. Anyways we had butterbeer and pumpkin juice and later played quidditch in the field. I played as Slitherin vs. Griffindor. We pretended my broom was a Nimbus 3000, while the other team had Firebolts. I played chaser while one of my friends played seeker for my team and my birthday girl friend, Brianna played Chaser as well. On the griffendor team, one friend as keeper and another played chaser. We video taped the game, however the camera died 10 seconds before Griffindor seeker caught the snitch. After the game we headed over to the theatre about 3 hours early which was 9pm.

Once at the movie theatre, I changed into my costume which was a Hermione Granger one in the official Griffindor uniform. It was very amazing as we saw many many people dressed up in different costumes which included, Hermione Granger X2, the Griffindor quidditch team, Hedwig, Dementor, Harry Potter X2, Rita Skeeter, Cho Chang, Luna Lovegood, Lupin + Tonks, Narsissca Malfoy + Bellatrick Lestrange, Deatheater, Ginny Weasley, Seamus Finnegan, and some random Slitherin crew. We had to have our bags checked for both digital and video cameras, so as to make sure we weren't pirating the movie. We were seated in the theatre after about 45 minutes and we were able to choose one of the two theatres that they provided us as long as we were in the midnight showing. I met two new people in the theatre and party which we talked excitedly about the movie and stuff until it finally came on and we cheered and then hushed.
In my opinion, I believe they did a fantastic job on this movie. They did leave a few things out along with adding things that were never in the movie to begin with. The newly added stuff was very exciting add to the film. One scene they added to the movie was the scene where the Weasley's home is attacked by Bellatrix and Fenrir. I wish they had shown Fenrir in his other form (werewolf) though, which would have made it even scarier. I wish they had put in the non-verbal spells in the movie which would have helped people understand the movie a bit more. This movie seems to be meant for people whom of which have already read the books from the getgo. The scene with the inferi was the most tense part of the movie, cuz you knew what was going to happen, but the suspense got to you anyhow. A lot of people screamed at that part. The scene of Dumbledore's death was also changed, which I found I did't like this change much because the book did a more realistic or believable approach. I hope that most of the left out stuff is introduced into the next Harry Potter films to come. This movie is a must see for everyone in my opinion.

I am also going to see the movie again, however, this time I am going to see it 3-D IMAX in Seattle for the first showing on the 29th. This will be my first 3-D IMAX experience, as I have been to 2-D IMAX's before.

After the movie, my friend Suri Quill and I were pulled aside and asked our opinion of the movie. At first I thought the woman was pretending to be Rita Skeeter as she had a pen and notepad,so I played along until she told me she was serious and I answered her questions and told one spoiler above. While I was being interviewed, I couldn't help but wonder why there were people there in line at 3am! I found out they had 3 shows that night, 12:01am, 12:15am, and 3:30am all for HP6! I had a very great night and once I got home I changed out of my Harry Potter uniform and crashed with my two friends.
